Pongo is Ideal for the treatment of human waste in chemical toilets, open pans, portable toilets or recirculation tanks.
Pongo is highly concentrated extremely effective yet avoids the safety and environmental haz- ards of formaldehyde based solutions.
Pongo’s perfume can pleasantly mask objectionable toilet odours to the benefit of all. Pongo is available in 5L, 20L and 200L pack sizes.
Instructions for use
Clean and flush pan, then refill pan with a solution of Pongo in water made up at a rate of 75ml to 120ml per 10L depending upon use rate and conditions.
Pongo is highly concentrated, and in well mixed pans it will work at a rate as low as 12.5ml per 10L, so it is worth experimenting to achieve maximum economy.
Saftey
Pongo is a concentrated biocide and deodorants containing added surfactants and dye but free from suspected human carcinogens and endocrine disruptors.
WARNING: Causes serious eye damage. May cause an allergic skin reaction. May be harmful if swal- lowed and may cause skin irritation. Contains over 5g/l of alkyl benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, 5- chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one.
HSNO codes 6.5 B; 8.2C; and 8.3A apply but Pongo is not classed as a dangerous good to freight by land in New Zealand.
PRECAUTIONS: Store in a secure area out of reach of children. Wash hands after handling. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wear gloves for prolonged use and eye protection if there is a risk of splashing into eyes.
First Aid
IF SWALLOWED: Do NOT induce vomiting. Drink two glasses of water. Call National Poison Centre on 0800 764 766 for further advise
IF IN EYE: Rinse with cool water for 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Con- tinue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician
SKIN CONTACT: Rinse with cool water. Seek medical advice if skin becomes irritated or inflamed.
